Filming the story of the young Seby. A boy born and grown in a mafia’s
environment, son of one of the town’s boss. Since kid, involved in the
mafia’s rules, searching for a high standing role in the mafia’s rules.
Grabbed for racketeering. Also this is a part of his initiation.
Everybody tries to get space with violence and the hierarchies to obtain
control. Despite the imposed schemes, Seby, shows how, also in a
gangster thinking, is important the poetic side. In a sparkling growing
happening of things, Seby, front a dilemma. A gangster life in a side, a
track already written. The sea and its breath to the other side. The
chance of an alternative walk, apparently less easily reachable and
filtered from the jail windows. |

Il film
racconta la storia del giovane Seby. Un ragazzo nato e cresciuto in ambiente
mafioso, figlio di uno dei boss della città. Sin da piccolo coinvolto
negli schemi malavitosi, alla ricerca di un ruolo importante. Viene
arrestato per estorsione. Anche questo fa parte della sua iniziazione.
Tutti cercano di farsi largo con violenza e con le gerarchie per
ottenere il potere. Seby, pur seguendo le traiettorie imposte, riesce a
dimostrare quanto, anche in un ambiente come quello, sia importante il
lato poetico. In un crescendo di avvenimenti, Seby, si trova davanti ad
un bivio. La Malavita da un lato, un percorso già scritto. Il mare ed il
suo odore dall’altro. La scelta di un percorso alternativo,
apparentemente meno a portata di mano e filtrato dalle sbarre del
carcere. |
